Still being built — you are walking through an early version.

Terms

The terms, plainly

No surprises buried in a long document. This is what using VINTORY means on both sides.

What the app is

VINTORY is a place to keep and explore a wine collection: bottles you add, notes you write, moments you record, and a guide that answers questions about them. It does not sell wine, hold wine, ship wine, or take part in any transaction between you and anyone else.

Your account and your collection

Where accounts are enabled, sign-in is by a link emailed to you; keep access to that inbox, because anyone who has it can reach your collection. Everything you enter — bottles, notes, photographs, timelines — remains yours. We claim no ownership of it and we do not publish it. You may ask for it to be deleted at any time; see the privacy page.

What identification and the sommelier can promise

Reading a label from a photograph is an informed guess, and so is any answer about a wine’s condition, drinking window or value. Both are offered as a starting point, with a stated confidence where we can give one. Check anything that matters — particularly before buying, selling, insuring or opening something rare. Values shown in the portfolio view are estimates for your own orientation and are not an appraisal, a valuation, or investment advice.

Fair use

Use the app for your own collection. Do not attempt to reach another person’s collection, to scrape or bulk-extract the app’s content, to overwhelm the service, or to feed it images or text you have no right to use. We may suspend access that does any of these.

Availability

The app is provided as it is, and parts of it depend on services we do not control — Anthropic’s API for label reading and the sommelier, Open-Meteo for weather, Supabase for accounts. Those can be slow or unavailable, and the app is built to keep working without them where it can. We do not guarantee uninterrupted service, and keeping your own backup of anything irreplaceable is sensible.

Drinking

VINTORY is for people of legal drinking age where they live. Nothing in the app is medical or dietary advice.

Changes

If these terms change materially, the page changes and the date below changes with it. Continuing to use the app after that means the new terms apply.
